This photo illustrates a restoration project done on the Wisconsin Power Electric Building in Milwaukee, WI. This turn-of-the-century heritage building received a complete restoration using Spectis custom stamped metal cresting. The original cresting was removed in World War II due to maintenance issues.
Spectis worked together with the designer and the architect in 1996 to ensure the stability and the design would meet approval.
Using archive photos, we were able to reconstruct the cresting in high density polyurethane and pre-finish it in a copper petina to replicate the authentic copper roofing.
